Alexis Kochan has been exploring the creative possibilities that are found at the interfaces where traditional music meets the modern world and where the global meets the culturally specific. This exploration, a continuing process of musical collaboration drawing on musicians and styles from different worlds, has led to three critically acclaimed recordings, and most recently to her newest CD "Prairie Nights and Peacock Feathers".
